Part of a presentation by Prof. Mark Stubbs, MMU, on where the eXchanging Course Related Information (XCRI) specification came from and what it's for. The video isn't particularly well shot I'm afraid. I shall have to invest in a table-top tripod...

I've just had the email informing me of the new Ning Apps (everybody's doing it, eh!). So I thought I'd try it out first of all with a twitter tracker - using the term "xcri". Do suggest topics you'd like to add to it and I'll sort it out...in f...

Hi everyone Now and again the odd spammer seems to slip through the Ning net and manage to creep onto sites as rogue members. These can be pretty hard to spot as much of the time they don't have a profile that gives anything away - just a (normal...

Good points. Take the dissemination to the people! Often the staff who really need to know about the project aren't 'released' by management to attend dissemination, and may have limited or non-existent travel budgets. These people may well be abl...

My colleague, Simon Grant, wrote a short article on the LEAP2A specification which appeared in the ALT Newsletter for May 09. For those that are interested in the area of ePortfolio but for whom the idea of reading about a specification is akin t...

Hi All, you will not believe it! The college cannot supply me with a webcam directly. The IT services here want £20! I only paid £4.00 for the one at home from Ebay, maybe I will bring that in, but I will keep banging on the IT services door.

Oh no - that's a shame. Looks like a great platform though. I've never used ning before. Is it easy to set up?

Hi Mark! Thanks for the welcome. Chara is not involved directly in PREVIEW - he is now working on the eViP project, funded by the EC. Both projects work with out virtual patient cases though, so have some elements of overlap. Are you still involved with Jorum?

Hi, I'm Mark Power and I need to remember to log out of other peoples machines after going on ning.

Also, my favourite animal is the pony.

I love these Ning sites Mark! My answer to everything at the moment is Ning! It is possible to allow videos on this site, you set it from the manage tab, then the video system works like YouTube.

Hi Mark, So very sorry to hear of the intrusion that you have had into your home. It is devastating, and it makes me so upset that others are willing to hurt in this way
