Hey David - hope all's well.
The site seems to have gone a bit quiet of late...I'm wondering what kind of activity is taking place across the LLNs and whether we could do some cross-pollination type exercises. Any ideas?? Cheers, M

Hi Mark
Good to see you have recovered, and busy.
During the E-systems Work Strand Meeting we had a couple of weeks ago, those attending did state that they would like a forum within the National LLN forum site. and it was felt that other individuals within LLNs but outside of 'e-systems' should be able to get involved. I have discussed this with those responsible for the site, and they have agreed to have a strand for Software Development and Collaboration.
There was also the wish to limit duplication and therefore, if we could link to this discussion group from http://www.lifelonglearningnetworks.org.uk/discussion/. that would appear to fulfill the wishes of our colleagues
What are your thoughts? obviously we do not what to duplicate things, I know that those running the LLN National Forum are slightly worried about duplication. Is there some way to link this with theirs and fulfill everyones wishes?
Thanks for joining! I'm not sure whether you have a mailing list or not but could I ask you to spread the word at your end please? I'm pleased with the number of people that have joined up so quickly (and that we already have a discussion underway!) here's hoping it's a sign of positive engagement to come.
I've sent out a call on the HE in FE list this morning asking for project staff to get involved and will be doing the same with the Cross Institutional strand shortly so hopefully, with the help of people like you and Roger Clark we can pull in the LLNs also.
